Luke Majors was born in the summer of ’98 in Noblesville, Indiana—just one town over from Runyon headquarters. The middle of three brothers, Luke’s early years revolved around team sports. One of his earliest and favorite memories is a birthday party at Cicero Park, shooting hoops on a basketball goal—a passion that only grew from there.
He went on to play basketball, football, and baseball at Hamilton Heights Middle School, where his father coached him in both football and baseball. By high school, Luke focused primarily on basketball, including two years of AAU play. His favorite subjects were history and economics, and one of his most memorable experiences was visiting his grandfather in The Villages, Florida. Outside of school, he spent much of his time with his brothers—who remain his best friends, cruising in his ’06 Impala, and playing with the family dog, Spanky, an American Eskimo Shih Tzu.
After graduating from Hamilton Heights High School, Luke attended Ivy Tech, where he played basketball while working toward a general studies degree. He spent a short time in landscaping before joining Renew Services, a traveling cleaning company that serviced hotels across the Midwest. Ready for more stability, he later took a position as an assistant at an insurance company in Cicero, Indiana.
In 2019, Luke found his home at Runyon Surface Prep, where his father, Curt Majors, serves as Warehouse Manager. Today, Luke is the primary delivery driver at RSP headquarters. He also plays a key role in warehouse operations, helps maintain heavy equipment, and assists with shipping. He enjoys working alongside his dad and values both the team atmosphere and his coworkers.
When he’s not at the warehouse, Luke often works concessions at sporting events late into the night. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially at cookouts. And if his favorite teams—the Celtics and the Cowboys (a loyalty that started with their uniforms as a kid)—are playing, even better.
Luke Majors is a vital part of our warehouse operations, and his positive attitude bolsters the strong team environment we value. Thank you, Luke, for being part of the Runyon team—we look forward to many more years ahead.
