This Runyon Roots article is long overdue, as Nick has been with our Runyon family for over two years! Nick is part of our RSP Team and works at our Rancho Cordova, California office in the shipping & receiving department! He was born in Fort Carson, Colorado on January 8, 1974 and has quite an interesting background! Nick was born in a military family and was always on the move. After a while, he found his home in Southern California.
Nick has been married to Lesley for 23 years and has two children; Brandon (22) and Sarah (18). His entire family enjoys going to see punk rock bands while enjoying the music from the mosh pits. Nick also loves skateboarding, it’s a sport that he can do forever and it’s tons of fun!
Nick has worked in many different capacities throughout his lifetime. Most notably, he has worked as a U.S. Forest Fighter and he has worked at Fender Guitar, where he met his wife Lesley. Nick is an avid knife collector and has collected close to a hundred different knives. Nick and his family enjoy the company of their four pets, (3) cats and (1) dog; Lucky, Punk, Camille, and Simon. Nick’s kids are involved in the youth leadership and development group, Young Marines, which makes him and Lesley very proud. We are lucky to have Nick at our Cali location!
