Amana Arayan has been blessed with a remarkable life story that began halfway around the world. Her parents were originally from Faisalabad, Pakistan, and they immigrated to the US in the late 70’s. Settling in Ottawa, Illinois, the scenic gateway to Starved Rock State Park, Amana was born and raised in the town of two rivers. There, coincidentally, she met and became best friends with a young Kristen Fox, RSP’s Director of Business Development. They both attended Ottawa High School where Amana proved both the young athlete and consummate student, concentrating on volleyball, basketball and softball while keeping busy as both Class and Student Council President.

From there, she went on to DePaul University in Chicago, where she majored in Business Management. Continuing her involvement in student government, throughout her time at DePaul she was a Senator of Student Culture Awareness, VP of Finance & founding member of Delta Gamma Sorority, and eventually earned the Outstanding Senior Leadership award—all while keeping on the Dean’s List. Upon graduation from college, she spent the next decade with a Trenchless Technology firm where she earned numerous accolades while honing the marketing skills she learned in college. And then she finally found her home with us.

Now Amana is our Director of Marketing here at RSP, splitting her time between designing promotional materials, project development, and running our numerous international marketing campaigns. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking in the Rocky Mountains, photography, cooking, makeup artistry, and spending time with family and friends. And speaking of family, she has two older brothers, Shahbaz and Rizwan, and a nephew, Danial, who is the star of her eye. And let’s not forget Saint and Sophia, her Bernedoodle and Miniature Longhair Dachshund, who have been joyful and loyal companions throughout.

Amana has been part of the Runyon team for almost two years now, and we are all so thankful to have her. She has a flair for organization, a keen eye for design, and a great passion for her work. Anything we release online, through social media, and during in-person events—you can be sure that she worked hard to develop the message. Everyone here thrives on her good humor and vibrant personality and we are so happy that she is part of the RSP family.
