The RSP 8-Seg is the premium tool in the Runyon diamond line. It leaves the most consistent scratch pattern, as well as, tighter scratches in the floor. The RSP 8-Segs have much more diamond content vs. the RSP 10-Seg (about 20% more diamond content), which leads to a longer life. The 8-Segs also have a much more advanced formulation.
The RSP 8-Seg is an ideal tool for preparing to polish, as the first step to get to medium aggregate. This tool is also ideal for first dry cuts on terrazzo and taking lippage out of marble wet. This tool is designed for better air movement and flow, so the channels are larger, which lets debris move out under the tool faster. Water flows through it quickly to keep the diamond cool, leading to longer life and a better scratch pattern. This RSP 8-Seg can be run as a wet or dry tool.
